Sample room completed as key part of Scottish hotel project

This week marks a significant milestone for our work with one of our Scotland-based hotel clients. We have now completed our first sample room for our client which will now be taken across the prominent hotel’s many other guestrooms.

The style of the sample room draws on the vibrant, metropolitan location of the hotel, bringing in heritage touches like dark-coloured walls, tan leather upholstered headboards, and brass detailing. Key landmarks from the local area are represented in the guestroom’s artwork, bringing the city outside, into the guest experience.

For this project, we will be refurbishing the hotel in its entirety, creating flexible and inviting common areas, like the bar and restaurant, that appeal to a wider European market. The public spaces are used, not just by guests, but by the wider community. So, it’s important that the sense of place that’s brought to the guestrooms through artwork is replicated across the hotel’s public areas, through objects d’art.

We’re delighted with the result of the sample room. It’s elegant, inviting, and firmly representative of the iconic location of the hotel. We’re excited to see these results rolled out to the rest of the building!
