Get to know our new Office Manager, Pauline McIntryre

We thought it was about time we re-introduced Team Bell & Swift! Let’s start off with one of our newest recruits; swift organiser, problem solver & logistics expert, our Office Manager, Pauline McIntryre.

Pauline, you’ve recently joined Team Bell & Swift, how are you settling in?
I’m settling in well with the team at Bell & Swift, it’s a warm and friendly environment and the team have all been supportive.  I already feel part of the team!  It’s always daunting starting a new job but so far so good.  I still have lots to learn and lots I’d like to implement, and I’m sure with the support of Dawn and Craig, everything will fit into place over time.

What is your role?
Office Manager

What’s a typical day like for you at Bell & Swift headquarters?
It’s early days to pinpoint what a typical day will look like, but so far, I’ve been working on a mix of diary management, human resources, and finance related tasks.  I’ve also been setting up accounts with suppliers and familiarising myself with projects.  We have an impressive sample library so my role will be to keep it looking tidy as well as the office in general to ensure it’s welcoming to everyone.  There’s nothing I won’t put my hand to, I’m here to support the whole team.

Why should companies choose to work with Bell & Swift?
In my short time with Bell & Swift the professionalism, dedication and passion of every team member is clear to see.

Outside of work, what do you like to do on your weekends?
My weekends are usually spent driving my teenage daughters here and there and looking after my elderly mother.  If I’m lucky, I’ll get some housework done and sit in the garden with a nice cuppa if the weather is good.

If we met outside of work, what should we chat to you about?
I like to chat about family and my two teenage daughters would likely both slip into conversation at some point.  I could equally chat about animals and animal welfare all day!

Welcome to the team Pauline, it’s great to have you on board!
